My dirty secret is that I resent The End because it was originally going to be the Sky Dimension - which I was insanely excited for - but they did me dirty. I'll talk about this on the blog at some point probably, 'cos years before I got into client modding I played with serverside world generation that reproduced this. I still haven't played even a minute of the Aether but I am very excited.
In general this modpack is very much what I want out of Minecraft, so it's a bit indulgent, but I feel like if I have enough enthusiasm of my own that should carry the server for a while.
