Will's Pikmin Hell

Quoting this from the wiki because I don't know how to better summarize it:

In Pikmin 3, Pikmin that carry a Burgeoning Spiderwort berry or nugget to the S.S. Drake, deliver a grape from the Dawn Pustules or Dusk Pustules, or fit a piece of a bridge or hay will start making their way back to the location they started carrying from. If there's nothing else to do there, they idle, but if there are more objects to collect, they will begin working on that automatically.

This is the worst part of the game. IMHO, just leave them at the spot they dropped the item off at, once the pile is empty. It's not like it's immersion-breaking, they can literally see the pile is empty, with their eyeballs. I don't know I just hate asking myself "why am I missing 20 Pikmin" and they're out standing in their field
