Labubu and Collector Trends

I also have a Lafufu, a present from my friend's aunt, who got scammed while trying to buy her daughter a legit Labubu. It's nameless and is chained to my desk drawer. I think they're cute, but I would never buy one myself (especially for 40 dollars). In my eyes, they should be categorized as an awkward present from a rich aunt or a friend of your parents, who doesn't know what you like and grabs a random thing in the toy isle in Duty Free.
