I was asked at one point for an Eggcraft casual RP thread, but I'd like forum RP to have some "physicality" to it,  especially if we're assuming that characters are communicating remotely, so this is the room it takes place in.

Assume that every character has access to this thread, and maybe some other sites if you think they'd be really funny. The rest of the internet is blocked by parental controls, but if your character is tech-savvy I don't think the Mayor is going to stop you from unlocking them.

THAT SAID, by nature of this being a casual thread, I would rather not open the "Minecraft is a video game?" can of worms here. You can make your own thread for that if you must.

i have been interested in light forum roleplay but it's hard to get a group or keep it going. still i would like to try something for the fun of it. i am mostly thinking a continuous thread with possible branch threads if they are needed

thinking some kind of continuous, collaborative worldbuild; you can do character actions of course but also we can work together to flesh out the world and establish contexts for future characters. also would like to open the possibility of making it easy to throw most types of characters into it whether they're pre-existing guys you have on hand or not

I am using this as an opportunity to really dust off the blog and rewrite some beloved old posts, which means I'm going through each one manually. This does, however, mean things has been slow work. Especially since I am doing this totally from scratch. So I am compromising and publishing updates in chunks instead of leaving the blog offline for months to come.

I could use all the support I can get here, folks, cos in the end on top of trying to move away from Patreon I'm basically shooting myself in the feet and making new better feet just because I hate Tumblr THAT much. I hope this is worth it. Please god

Welcome to Rainbow Corner!

Rainbow Corner is the free premade player housing area, for players who aren't so up to making their own houses or just want to have a base close to spawn.

• First come, first serve. Just be nice about it. If someone says they want a house first then don't take it right away.
  
• If you want a house in a specific color or style you can special request it.
  
• You're free to customize the house as much as you want, but please don't claim a spot just to demolish it. I'll be opening blank lots soon in the same area!
  
• New to Eggcraft 4.0: you now have an allotted 4 chunks (2x2), designated by the spruce fence, instead of just having to sort of guess where your boundaries are. You can press F3+G to view chunk boundaries. In general I doubt this will be a huge problem anyway, but if you're looking to make a basement, here's how you can keep track of where "your base" is.

So far I have Big House, Medium House Big Yard, and Two-Story. I am planning on making a Small House and some throwback builds. If you have a specific vision you can't build on your own, feel free to share!
